About Omar

My Story:

I grew up in a home where religion was present but not deeply cultivated. As I entered high school, I became acutely aware of a profound emptiness—a universal void I later understood as the absence of a genuine connection with Christ. This phase of my life was characterized by aimlessness, isolation, and a visionless future, leading me toward sin, harmful thoughts, and a profound estrangement from both friends and God.

Then, by the sovereign will of God, He reached out to me during a youth group meeting in 2001, an event my old friend had invited me to, sparking a pivotal change in my life. It was here I was confronted with my need for God, urged to see my life as a consequence of my sins, and to recognize my inner void as my separation from God. This moment became a turning point, helping me to see that my feelings of loss and emptiness were directly tied to a sinful life.

This revelation was how He saved me, showing me that there is something far more fulfilling and precious than self-gratification: the person of Jesus Christ. God's grace delivered me from a life dominated by sin, egoism, and an empty spirituality without Christ. In a significant act of transformation, He exchanged my heart of stone for a heart of flesh—renewed, vibrant, and open to His Word and love. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross redeemed my soul, a priceless redemption bought by His blood. Now, my life's purpose is to dedicate myself entirely to His glory, living as a testament to the transformative power of His love and grace.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
