Here’s what to expect on Sunday morning
Pastor’s Welcome
We are so thankful to God you found us.
On behalf of Garwood Church, I’d love to invite you to join us this Sunday and explore the person and work of Christ. We are by no means a perfect church, in fact, we embrace weakness, struggles, and pain, because we know that our Savior is able to give us rest from a weary world.
Are you struggling with life questions, relational conflict, spiritual apathy? Join a community of people that is also in need of grace. No matter, where you are there is always a seat at the table of His grace. Over time, you will be challenged but not alone.
If we can help direct, care, or pray for you in any way, please let us know. We consider it an honor to have you among us.
What You Can Expect
We gather every Sunday to worship God wholeheartedly through music, fellowship, giving, and the preaching of His Word.
At the heart of our worship is expository preaching—working through the Bible verse-by-verse to reveal its depth and truth. Alongside the preached Word, we incorporate vital elements of worship: the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper, worship in song, prayer, Scripture reading, and fellowship. Our services are marked by warmth, joy, and a deep love for sound doctrine.
Our services typically last ninety minutes.
Please Note: On the last Sunday of each month, we hold a traditional service at 10 am, with a focus on hymns and additional liturgical elements.

While children of all ages are always welcome to worship with us for the entirety of our service, we also believe in the task of disciple-making at the hands of the local church. At Garwood Church, children worship with us during the musical portion of our service and then transition into their classrooms, during a short break before the sermon. We pray for them and bless them as they go and learn about Jesus in community. Our youth stays in the service to listen to God’s Word with their parents but meets two Fridays a month in their own gathering on Friday nights. Garwood Church is a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), deeply rooted in the historic Protestant and Reformed tradition. We uphold a conservative, Bible-believing, evangelical faith, committed to the authority of Scripture and the life-transforming message of the Gospel. While some branches of the Reformed tradition have moved in more liberal directions over the past century, we affirm our commitment to the core tenets of orthodox Christian faith. Here, you’ll find a community dedicated to living out God’s truth in love, grounded in historic principles that have shaped faithful believers across generations.
