Discipleship groups meet throughout the week at the church and in people’s homes. There are groups for all ages and walks of life. They usually last for two hours and include a time of fellowship, reading God’s Word and prayer for one another. Here’s the general format we follow for group discussion…
LOOK BACK - CONNECT
To grow in a discipleship relationship with Jesus, we start by sharing our challenges and things we are thankful for.
LOOK UP - DISCOVERY
Then, we read a Bible passage, make observations, retell the story and ask what this passage says about God and humanity.
LOOK FORWARD - DISCIPLESHIP
We end our night by responding to the story we read and principles we learned. Together, we pray and ask God to help us obey his Word and share what we learned with someone else.
